What can I see in Know Your Pets?
You can find information on the different breeds of dogs, cats, etc and how to take care of them on top of general pets information in Singapore.  We are continuously upgrading and adding input so do watch this column.

Who can participate is pets classifieds?
Anyone who has a pet or pets accessories to sell or waiting for adoption, or wish to buy/adopt one. i-Pets welcome pets pet shops in classifieds too.

Is it free?
Yes

Can pets  merchants or service providers participate in pets classifieds?
Yes of course

How do I know if the pet is approved in Singapore and if it has been licenced or in good condition?
i-Pets provides the means for pet lovers to communicate but cannot and will not be responsible for the condition nor legality of the pets.  It is up to the individual to assess the pet personally or check with the relevant authorities.

Can I cancel my classifieds posting if my pets is no longer available?
Yes

Pets Diary

What is this diary for?
This is like a personal blog or diary for you and all your pets, recording both you and their lifes and moments in life.  For your pets, past, present and future, you can also record the brand of food, vet name and place where you bought from, his allergies and record his events of life from the time he was a puppy till he has grown to become an adult, his partner, likes, dislikes,etc. For your yourself, you can talk about anything under the sun just like you are writing your own personal diary.  We are ok as long as you do not talk anything offensive, illegal or lewd.  Also, we know it is kind of difficult to just write about pets in the diary though we also believe there will be some owners who will dedicate the whole diary to their pets.  What i-pets require is for you to have at least 10% portion of your diary to be written for your pets.  We are not going to count the number of words but we will just do an estimate.  This is afterall a pets website, so it is only right that we stick to the theme.  If anyone totally don't want to talk about pets then we will suggest he writes his blog with another website.

How do I write a diary?

If I currently don't have a pet, can i write a diary/blog?                                                                      
Yes, why not. As long as you love pets and animals

How many pets can you write in one pets diary?
No limits. Every member with standard membership can only have one pet diary

Will my friends or the public be able to read and make comments to my pets diary?
Yes

Can I upload pictures of me and my pet onto the pet diary?
Yes

Pets Directory

What can I find inside the Pets Directory?
Almost all the pet shops, suppliers, service providers, groomers, vet, welfare services, pets cafes, pets dog run, hangout placesetc inside with contact and location details.

I need to look for a service provider near my home, how do I go about?
You can search by district for the service provider.

Can I recommend a pet shop to I-pets?
Certainly.  Just post it in to us and we will review it before we put it up on the directory.

Can I submit a review about the pet establisment in the Pets Directory?                        you are certainly welcome to. In fact, one of the purpose of the Directory is to facilitate the sharing of experiences among members on the services provided by the eatablishments.

 

Pets Events

What can I find in Pets Events?
Events of members birthday, pets birthday, death anniversaries,  pets events like dog shows and major Singapore holidays, public events.  The events section provides all members an area to share with all their importants day with regards to their pets.

Can I post an event into Pets Events?
Yes.  At this moment, posting is instantaneous without I-pets reviewing.  However, I-pets reserves the rights to remove it if it is found to be incorrect, irrelevant or without giving any reasons.

 

Pets Memorial

 What is Pets Memorial?
Pets Memorial is set up by individual members to mark the rememberance of their beloved pets after the pets have passed away. 

Is it free?
Yes. It is free.

Can the same pets have more than 1 memorial?
Yes. Provided it is by different members and register memorial name must be different as a unique name will be assigned and cannot be used again. 

Can my friends send condolences to my pet memorial?
Yes.  In the form of a guest book.

At the moment, the Pets Memorial is still under construction, i-Pets hope to be able to get the Memorial ready early next year.

Pets Picture

What is the Picture section for?
Pets Picture allows members to upload up to 300 of pets and animals pictures to share with other members. You don't have to post only your pet pictures. i-Pets allows you to post pictures of say your neighbours pets, picture of animals taken by you while you are at the zoo, bird watching, in your neighbourhood, scuba diving,etc.  With up to 300 pictures, you can post your last scuba diving trip's pictures of the sea. 

Is Pets Picture free?
Yes. 

How many pets can a member put up for pets picture?
Up to a maximum of 300 pictures. 

Can I change the pictures after I have uploaded them?
Yes.

Is there any restrictions on the type of pets or animals I can post?                     

No, as long as they fit into the right category.  Unlike in classifieds, you can post dogs that are banned in Singapore in the dogs category or wild animals in the animals(general) section.  As long as it is just a photgraphy, not trading of wild or banned animals, it is acceptable

                                                                                                                       

 

Pets Talk

What is Pets Talk?
Pets Talk is a forum where members can interact with one another or simply view the topics dicussed by members regarding pets and general issues.

Can I upload pictures in Pets Talk?
Yes.

Can pet merchants participate in Pets Talk?
Yes.  But merchants are not allowed to openly advertise their services or establishments in non merchant topics.

 

Pets Video

What is Video?
Pets video allows members to upload video clips  of pets and videos to share with everyone.

Beisdes uploading through i-Pets, how else can I upload it through? 

You can upload it through Youtube and then paste it on i-Pets.

How long is the video clip?
1 min and every member is allocated 1 minute.

i-Pets is run by a 100% locally set up company, BND Venture that has its focus on internet and community services.  Pets has been the passion of the people managing I-pets so setting up I-pets is a natural choice.

What I-pets can do for you?

i-pets is a pet lovers community portal created in Singapore for Singaporeans and other pet lovers from other parts of the world.  The membership is free and is open to all members of the public from all age groups.  At this moment all the member services are also free.  i-pets also welcomes pets merchants and service providers to participate.  The only criteria we ask for is that you like pets.
